About the Author
Susan L. Haugland has been a music educator since 1982, with experience teaching band, chorus, orchestra, general music, and music theory at all grade levels from preschool through college. She resides in Lake Bluff, Illinois where she currently teaches general music and orchestra at the elementary level.

For experienced and new teachers alike.

Hoping that what I learned will help me have a great year in my MS choir. New teachers aren't the only people who can benefit from this-anyone who wants some management ideas can glean a lot of info from this book. I've been at it for 14 years, and this book has helped me!

I've been teaching part-time choir in a public High school for fifteen years and have almost completely burned out. This book is full of practical suggestions for how to take control of my classes and guide them more responsibly. I look forward to implementing these ideas this school year!
