This book is for climate scientists, urban planners, agricultural policy makers, geographers, natural resources journalists, and other professionals who are affected by climate change not only in the Great Lakes region but everywhere -- because what's happening here will happen there too, in various ways. This book is not for average lay people, as it is fairly technical and narrow.
The book is very well balanced, presenting a range of viewpoints, and respecting the uncertainty and complexity involved in forecasting, planning, and policy making.
